Spring 2026 PAYSA In-House Baseball Registration

Welcome

PAYSA 2026 Spring In-House Registration

WELCOME BACK FOR ANOTHER SEASON OF PAYSA IN-HOUSE BASEBALL!

We are very excited for another season of baseball at 48th & Woodland.  Please note the following:

1) As has been the case, due to field space limitations, we only have a limited number of players we can have at each division.  For the last 3 seasons, we have had a substantial number of potential players who did not get off our waitlist, and we anticipate having one again this season.  As such, we will be putting a hard cap on registrations, by level, and strictly adhering to a waitlist once we have reached that cap. Thus, we encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your spot(s).

2) Every season, we have players who are committed to other sports or activities and thus are unable to make a certain number of games and practices. That said, if you know in advance that you will not be able to attend the majority of practices and games we would ask that you consider making room for other players.

3) If you know of others who would like to play PAYSA baseball, please share this link with them!  We do our best to advertise in the neighborhood as much as possible, but personal word-of-mouth references are the best!

DIVISIONS

This Spring, PAYSA In-House baseball will once again be divided into five (5) divisions based upon age and playing experience:

PeeWee - introductory baseball-style activities intended for players 3 and 4 years old.

TeeBall - introductory team-oriented tee-ball with practices and games intended for players 5 and 6 years old.

Rookie - introductory team baseball with live hitting off of pitching machines intended for players 7 and 8 years old.

Minors - intermediate team baseball with live hitting off of pitching machines with introduction to kid pitching intended for players with some amount of baseball experience, for players 9 and 10 years old.

Majors - advance level of organized in-house baseball with the goal of transitioning players from hitting off of pitching machines and to player pitch, intended for players with advanced baseball experience, for players 11 and 12 years old.

We will be once again using a May 1st cutoff date for all age ranges.

Practices will officially begin in the third week of March, and Opening Weekend will be Friday, April 10th and Saturday, April 11th.

Volunteers!

PAYSA is an all-volunteer organization, and it crucial to the success of our organization that our PAYSA families be actively involved in running our baseball season. IN 2026, ALL FAMILIES WILL ONCE AGAIN BE REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER FOR ONE OR MORE ROLES. No baseball experience? No problem. We have many, many opportunities for folks who prefer volunteer jobs that require no baseball knowledge. We believe this requirement is essential to the sustainability of the league and the spirit of the PAYSA community.

We intend our volunteer policy to allow us to run a successful league, not to place a burden on families. If the volunteer policy would place an undue burden on your family, please feel free to contact us at paysacommissioner@gmail.com. We will keep this communication confidential.

Everyone volunteering as a coach or assistant coach will be required to submit clearances before practices begin.

Registration Deadline

WE PLAN TO CLOSE REGISTRATION ON MARCH 1ST, OR WHEN ALL SPOTS ARE FILLED! Please register as soon as possible. We are expecting the league to fill up quickly this year and may not be able to accept late entrants. All practices and games will continue to be held at the fields at the 48th & Woodland Avenue Rec. Center.

PAYSA will not turn away any family who cannot pay the full registration fee. To be eligible for financial assistance you need to contact PAYSA before starting the registration process. Contact information is provided at the bottom of this page. All information provided/discussed will remain confidential.

Fees for Minors and Majors Level

Once again this season, we will be employing professional umpires, some of whom are PAYSA alums! In order to offset the costs of paying the umpires, Minors and Majors fees are $105 per player.

Registering Multiple Players

In order for the registration system to recognize that your family is registering multiple players, PLEASE REGISTER ALL OF YOUR PLAYERS AT THIS TIME.  On the Review Page, there is a link near the bottom to "Register Another Player" - please click on this link to ensure that all of your family's players are registered within the same order.
